Come and sing with us!
The Society always warmly welcomes new members who would like to join in an enjoyable, challenging and fulfilling leisure activity.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7.25 pm in the Riverside Hall (Age Concern Centre), Priory Street, Ware for concerts which we perform locally and occasionally in London. We meet from early September until early June with a short break for Christmas.
Why not come along to a reheasal and meet us before you commit to join? We work hard at rehearsals, but we also have a lot of fun.
Make yourself known to one of the committee when you arrive, or better still, contact Jo Beynon on (01920) 462346 beforehand so that we can look out for you.
And come along and see a performance. Details of our next performance are on the Next Concert page which you will arrive at by selecting the tab above.
There are no auditions for chorus membership, but a good singing voice, some ability in reading music and an enthusiastic approach are useful attributes!
Perhaps you would like to be involved but would rather not sing? Well any help you could give us behind the scenes, perhaps making coffee at rehearsals and/or stewarding at our concerts or other useful tasks, would be gratefully received.
If you would like to find out more about joining the Society, please contact Mavis Pickard, our membership secretary, on (01992) 443321.
